01/07/2010 RoadHawk will be at Truckfest!
We've been invited to attend Truckfest South West this weekend 3rd and 4th of July at the Royal Bath showground. We're attending in RoadHawk mode with live displays of the RH-1 and RH-2. The Roadhawk RH-1 has been the top selling item on this website for the last two months running. This will be out first outdoor show and we'll be camping in tents so let's hope for some more sunshine this weekend.

11/06/2010 Lawmate release the PV500 ECO and PV500 Evolution DVRs
The Lawmate PV500 eco and evo DVRs mark a huge leap forward in solid state digital video recording with their advanced video encoding at up to 1280 x 960 resolution and 9mb/s. You can set them to record at 720p giving a wide screen image from any bullet camera plugged in to them.
The PV500 EVO has a really nice touchscreen menu system and a digital video input ready for the next generation of high definition digital button/bullet and hidden spy cameras. The PV500 ECO replaces the long standing DV500 and makes for a perfect on bike/in car camera system or undercover recording DVR.

20/04/2010 Waterproof Housings for ConrtourHD Helmet Cameras
Finally! We have loads of stock of the long awaited waterproof housing for the ContourHD 720p and 1080p helmet cameras. The housing not only fully protects your ContourHD camera from dust and stones but also makes it waterproof down to 10m!
You can continue to use all the existing ContourHD cameras mounts and you still get full functionality of the camera using the external magnetic slider switch.
Roadhawk release the RH-2 in car black box video recorder. Based on the already incredibly successful RH-1, the new RH-2 has both a forward facing camera and a wide angled rear facing camera capturing a total of 340 degrees. It comes with an IR light bar for night time filming and a remote EMERGENCY button as well. The RH-2 has already been installed in to a large fleet of Taxis in the South West. We would like to thank our customers for giving us the busiest month on record. We sold you more camera systems in March than any other month since we started five years ago. Thanks!
Next month, we will be moving to bigger premises and taking on more staff to provide more camera systems and to give even better customer service.

30/03/10 New Sony HQ-DNR-1 Bullet Cameras NOW AVAILABLE
The next generation of bullet camera has arrived and it's looking really good.
Up until now, bullet cameras have a tendency to struggle when filming inside a car. The dark interior bright outside normally make the bullet camera over expose. The new Sony HQ-DNR-1 is fitted with a brand new DNR-DSP that allows you to adjust brightness, back light, white balance and wide dynamic range settings via a built-in joystick on the back of the camera.
This means you can now mount the bullet camera on a roll cage with a wide angled lens looking forward and get a perfect picture with the minimum amount of effort.

The latest batch of the MiniDVR2 has been upgraded to record at 720 x 576 resolution 25fps. It means the video quality is even better than before not to mention the only head camera system on the market under £200 to achieve it. What a nice breakthrough!

Ok, we've been sent some pretty horific car crash videos from the RoadHawk in car black box recorder that we can't really make public but this one is a little different.
Every so often we get sent some really nice quality video and this is a fantastic clip from the ContourHD supplied by us to Crown House Media who absolutely love the camera! We think this is the first time a high definition helmet camera has been used in a rally car like this.
Check out their video from IRC in Spain last weekend. It's had over 6000 hits on youtube in just 3 days!

We have a brand new in car camera that has been fitted with a WDR (wide dynamic range) digital signal processor. What this means is that the camera can cope with very dark and very light contrast ratios better than anything else on the market. So now you can get a perfect wide angle shot inside your car whilst maintaining a perfectly in focus image of what's going on outside. This new camera is compatible with just about all in-car video systems and is highly recommended as an upgrade for anyone filming from a roll bar inside a car. The WDR-1 in car camera is here!

The MiniDVR2 is the latest angel eye helmet/bullet camera kit. It has a higher resolution and video bit rate giving higher quality video over the first version. The MiniDVR2 also takes normal sized SDHC cards up to 32gb in size....that's over 25 hours of video at 720 x 528 resolution 3mb/s. Loads more features and a longer battery life as well.
