This is the latest version of the excellent motorsports hero wide angled camera. If you're looking for a self contained camera for motorsports with no cabling then this is currently your best choice.

The motorsports hero comes with everything you need to start filming right out of the box. Unlike the other hero cameras available this one is supplied with suction and helmet mounts perfect for filming in or on a car or bike.

It uses a 5 mega pixel camera for shooting high resolution still pictures and can record video at 512x384 resolution.

We supply this camera with a 2gb card which will hold 56 minutes of video or 100's of photos.

It's waterproof housing can be taken down to 30m of water making this an ideal choice of camera to take on holiday with you. It has several different filming modes such of PAL or NTSC, picture every two seconds and programmable power off settings.

The motorsports hero 5 wide has a 170 degree wide angle lens so it really doesn't matter if the camera is not quite pointing in the right direction, you're bound to get the shot you are looking for.

This camera is supplied with quick release mounting brackets so you can easily take the camera out of it's housing and plug it in to your computer or tv for instant playback.

Battery life has been improved to 3 hours of video record time when using Lithium batteries and 2 hours when using NiMH batteries.

Five quick release adhesive mounts and an industrial strength suction cup are included. The suction cup is GoPro-approved for external high speed driving and riding, and is strong enough to pull dents out of a car door.

Adhesive mounts are removable but require purposeful removal by user.

Additional expansion mounts are available separately, including roll bar, handlebar/seatpost, chest harness, and surfboard mounts.
