High Definition Solid State DVR 32gb SD Card Capacity 1280 x 960 resolution

The long awaited replacement for the DV500 has finally arrived. The PV500 ECO is a complete redesign of the industry standard solid state digital video recorder. The ECO has been fitted with the same electronics as the already very sucessful PV1000 by Lawmate.

Unlike the PV1000, the ECO is much smaller at a pocket sized 75(L) x 45(h) x 15mm(D). It uses SDHC memory cards to store video, audio and photos. Compatible with the latest 32gb SDHC class 10 cards.

The ECO has a new user friendly menu system which is operated using the supplied infra red remote controller. You can plug any analogue camera in to the PV500 including the range of Lawmate hidden spy cameras found here.

Recording resolution goes up to 1280 x 960 at 9mb/s. It produces superb video quality unmatched by any other DVR currently available on the market today.

The battery for the ECO is completley new. A 3000mah Li_ion detatchable Cell will give up to 3 hours continuous record time. There has been a complete overhaul or the timer schedule and motion detection functions.

This latest generation of high definition digital video recorders create .ASF files which can easily be played on either PC or MAC operating systems. .ASF files can be nativley imported in to windows movie maker (a free editing program from microsoft) without any conversion required.

A wired remote controller is available for the PV500 Eco which allows the user to remote start/stop the recording, turn the unit on or off and take snapshot photos.

Like all Lawmate Law enforcement grade equipment, the PV500 ECO does full watermarked time and day date stamping. It has password protection, produces a LOG file that records every function activated with the device.

It can do continuous video recording, motion detection and pre-event or scheduled video recording.

A 4gb SDHC card is supplied with the Lawmate PV500 ECO. This will give around 1 hour record time at full quality.

Bullet Camera Advantages – Dogcam Bullet HD2

The Advantages of Bullet Cameras Bullet cameras pretty much started the action camera craze. In the beginning the most popular solution was to rig a bullet camera directly into a camcorder’s AV inputs. It wasn’t pretty, with wires everywhere and a separate battery pack to power the bullet camera. A very cumbersome set up indeed. [...]
