PV-806

The PV-806 DVR is perfectly suited to under-cover filming, overt recording and training purposes. It has both a 60gb hard disk AND an SD slot for solid state recording. You can choose to record direct to hard disk or when conditions get tough switch to solid state memory SD card for uninterrupted recording. You can record to SD card then transfer the files to the hard disk for longer record times. Or record direct to hard disk and copy files to the built-in SD card reader. This allows you to take copies of footage from the pv806 without putting the recorder out of action.

The PV-806 also has a 5v and a 12v power output to send power to the camera so you don't need to carry an extra power pack or set of batteries (wired or wireless remote required for 12v output).

Record resolution is 640 x 480 pixels at 25fps PAL or 30fps NTSC. Or 720 x 480 18fps

A nifty wired or wireless remote controller is available for the pv806 so you can turn the unit on/off and start/stop recording at the click of a button even when the device is tucked away out of site.

PV-806 Wired Remote

A wired remote control for the PV-806. Plug this remote in to control on/off and record start/stop functions. A simple switch allows you to operate the unit whilst keeping it safely tucked away. Two LEDs will tell you the status of the recorder. This remote also has a belt clip.

With this remote you can also connect 12v power to the camera from the PV-800 so you don't need a separate power supply for the head-cam.

Plug this in to your PV-806 and have wireless remote control of your recorder. Turn the power on/off and start/stop recording without even touching the device! The receiver hub has LED indicators to inform you of the recorder's status. This remote has a built-in belt clip too.

The pv806 and the dv500 digital video recorders are supplied with a UK mains battery charger. The charging is done by plugging the recorder in to a mains wall socket.

This device allows you to quick charge your batteries externally. The dv500 and pv806 come with 2 batteries so you can charge one whilst using the other.

You can also use this charger with the car power adapter below to charge batteries from your car cig. lighter socket.
