The VIO POV.1 is a fully integrated point-of-view waterproof video system. The kit includes a mountable digital camera head, built-in digital video recorder, waterproof wireless remote and supplied with software for managing your videos.

The POV.1 can be used for all sports including motorsports. It's also perfectly suited for skiers and snowboarders.

The camera head is waterproof to about 10m of water and the recorder part can go down to about 1m. All parts can be submerged as long as the battery cover remains in place.

The wireless remote is a great advantage, you can use the remote to start/stop the video recording. The recorder part is officially limited to using an 8gb card giving around 6 hours of record time.

The POV.1 kit is supplied with a range of mounts for mounting the camera head to just about anything. There is a "C" Clamp that holds the camera in place and the clamp is attached to one of two mount attachments. The base part of thisw camera mount provides a 1/4" mounting thread so it can be used with our wide range of camera mounts.

You can connect the POV.1 directly to your TV for playback or simply plug the recorder in to your PC and download the video for easy editing (software is supplied). We will also give you a FREE USB Card reader for even easier transfer of footgage.

The menu on the unit is user friendly and allows you to change the input sound levels, the picture quality and all other settings very easily.
The video resolution is limited to 720 x 480 which is below DVD quality but still very good for the price.
