Contour Roam
This is the Latest Contour head camera, called the ContourRoam. Currently one of the highest specification head cameras available from Contour.
The Contour Roam borrows design and features from the rest of the Contour camera range, but with differences that set it apart from any other head camera system such as a built in tripod thread, built in battery and this Contour head camera is waterproof up to one meter - perfect for watersports!
It benefits from a super wide-angled lens - up to 170 degrees which is the widest available today - it also supports up to 1080p for very high quality video footage!
The ContourRoam also benefits from a longer battery life of up to 3 hours which is the best battery life from any Contour Camera ever produced, and in fact most sports cameras on the market today.
Because the form factor of the new ContourRoam has not been changed, it still works with all the Contour accessories, spare batteries and camera mounts as per the other Contour HD head cameras.
At full quality this camera uses 1gb of memory for just 15 minutes of video at 1080p. A 2gb card holds 30 minutes of video. We recommend using either an 8gb or 16gb MicroSD HC class 4 card for longer record times.
