The original DogCam CCD cameras makes for an excellent filming experience. It's lens aperture is small and very difficult to break or scratch.

This camera is ultra light and about the size of a lipstick. It's High Resolution CCD pickup gives a well defined picture in extreme conditions. Excellent for a car camera or bike helmet cam or for any other sports activities.

420 Line Helmet Camera system

The connectors are on a 2 metre cable from the camera: DC in and Video out by way of a standard female RCA socket.
Most DV recorders and cam-corders which have a/v inputs will plug straight in, usually with the cable supplied with camcorder. 9v pp3 battery clips are supplied with all cameras.

All DogCams can be attached to universal camcorder tripods or fittings.

These cameras do not have mics built in. You can purchase a mic with a 12v pass-through for the camera so you can run both from the same power supply or you can purchase a kit which includes the mic and other extras.

These bullet cameras represent low cost but reliable cameras that are unbranded. This 420 line camera uses a 1/4" Sharp sensor which is not as good as theSony 1/3" sensor but can sill give great results if used properly. The pinhole lens in this bullet camera is only a couple of mm in dia. This means that it's almost impossible to break the camera's lens inside the unit.

For a long time, this was the best camera available, it's now been superceded by 480, 520 and now 550 line cameras. Please see our products page for more info on these newer cameras. Do you need a recording device? We now sell lots of different digital video recorders to connect this bullet camera to. Or you could use an older camcorder as long as ithas a/v inputs.
