The Elmo SUV camera system has a built-in microphone for recording sound which works very well if you are using the belt clip.

If you have the SUV cam tucked away in a pocket or a ruc-sac/camel pack then you will want to use
an external microphone. Otherwise you will only capture a rustling noise.

Stereo mic (SUV records mono only) for the SUV camera system. Comes with 1m cable. Plug and play.

Did you know you can use your SUV camera to record audio only? The elmo kit makes a fantastic dictaphone.
