This is the latest version of the helmet hero wide angled camera. If you're looking for a self contained camera for mounting on your helmet with no cabling involved then you should check our this new product.

The helmet hero comes with everything you need to start filming out of the box. All you need to add is 2 batteries. Unlike the other hero helmet cameras this one is supplied with specialist helmet mounts ideal for filming your point of view no matter what sport you do.

It uses a 5 mega pixel digital camera for shooting high resolution stills pictures and it can record video at 512x384 resolution.

We are supplying this camera with a 2gb card which will hold 56 minutes of video or 100's of photos.

It's waterproof housing can be taken down to 30m of water making this an excellent choice of camera to take on holidays with you. It has several filming modes like PAL or NTSC, picture every two seconds and a programmable power off setting.

The helmet hero 5 wide has a ultra wide 170 degree angled lens so it really does not matter if the camera is not pointing in the right direction, you're bound to get the shot you are looking for.

The helmet hero camera is supplied with quick a release mounting bracket so you can easily take the camera out of it's housing and plug it in to your computer or tv for instant playback. Cables are supplied to do this.

Additional expansion mounts are available separately, including handlebar/seatpost, chest harness and roll bar, surfboard mounts. More mounts are always being developed for convenience.
