This is the latest hDVR 720 bullet camera complete package.
Based on a brand new video and camera chipset it can achieve full D1 720 x 576 resolution with up to 10mb/s Bit rate. This is something that has previously only been available in camera systems over £500!
What's more, you can play back the video you have recorded using the built-in screen and speaker as soon as you have finished recording.
You can plug the recorder part in to your TV for direct playback or you can plug it in to any computer to play/edit the video.
The camera supplied with this system is based on the excellent HQ2 bullet camera which is only 19mm in dia and 55mm long. It is a 550tvl camera with a high speed reaction time to changing light conditions. The camera is fitted with a wide angled 3.6mm lens which can be changed to give different angles of view if required.
This bullet camera is also fitted with a 1/4" thread on the rear so it can be used with any camera mount available. An external microphone is integrated in to the cable of the camera.
Another fantastic addition to this camera kit is a supplied wired "lanc" remote controller that is used to turn the system on/off and start/stop recording. This remote can be worn on the wrist for helmet camera applications or you could stick it to your dashboard or handlebars for cars and bikes.
Each hDVR 720 is supplied with 2 x 1400mah rechargeable batteries which will give around 2.5 hours recording each. The batteries can be charged either inside the recorder or via the supplied external battery charger.
Also supplied with the hDVR 720 is a cigarette lighter adapter that can be used to either charge the batteries in the recorder or to power it permanently. The system can be put in "CAR MODE" which detects when you have powered up the recorder from your vehicle. At this point it will turn on and start recording automatically. If you use "LOOP MODE" then this makes a perfect in car black box video recorder.
We've pretty much thought of everything we can with this product. It has time/date stamping which can be turned off. In motion detection mode it stores up to 20 seconds worth of "Pre Event" recording.
We think this is a perfect little bullet camera suitable for just about any activity; Motorsports, Skiing or Cycling etc. Various camera mounts are included with the kit, please click the thumbnail images to the right to see them.
The bullet camera part of this kit is fully waterproof but the recorder part needs to be protected from getting wet.
