Professional 1080p In Car Camera System

The POV.HD from VIO makes a superb in car filming kit. It uses pedigree electronics and produces an unrivalled image quality better than any other camera in this range by quite a long way.

The POV.HD is a "two piece" camera system. It uses a small HD bullet style camera connected to a video recording unit. The advantage of doing it this way is the video processor can be bigger providing better video and audio quality and the camera head can be smaller. A camera head with a smaller mass is less likely to move around on the mount giving you smoother looking video.

Mounting the camera and keeping it solild to the car is vitally important and that is why we have supplied in this kit a full Manfrotto ultimate POV.HD clamp mount. Compatible with any size roll bar tubing and fully adjustable so you can hang the camera from above or use it on a cross bar.

Powering the system can be done from either AA batteries or by using the POV power converter kit supplied in this package. The POV power converter can take a 12v to 32v signal from your car and power the POV.HD system all day long.

We have supplied a Peltor intercom cable with the POV.HD motorsports camera package so you can get great audio. If you choose not to use an intercom, the mic on the POV.HD is one of the best around.

Supplied with the kit is a wireless RF remote controller that allows you to start/stop the recording even when wearing gloves. If you're the type of person that forgets to press record before you start racing then you can set the POV.HD system in to Loop Back mode and this will capture the last 15 - 30 mins when you press the button.
