You can power your bullet cam from your car or bike's 12v system as long as you use a 12v regulator. This stops anything more than 12v going in to the camera and causing damage of the unrepairable kind. |

DC Power Switch
A very handy power switch that you can use to turn your equipment on and off with.
Supplied with a 1.5m cable and two connectors. One female 2.1mm DC and one male 2.1mm DC. This will go in between your power supply and your camera and provides a tidy solution for switching the 12v power to your camera or recorder.

12v In-Line DC Regulator for bike/car
If you want to connect your camera to your bike or car's 12v system then you will need to regulate the voltage going in to the camera. This little box will not allow enough voltage through to do damage to your equipment. It has tipped bare wires on the input side and a 2.1mm DC plug on the output side. An in-line fuse should be used if connecting directly to a battery.

Power for your recorder
Most digital recorders such as the pvr500r, dv500, pv800 and archos take a 5v supply to power them. You can use this cable to run these device from any 12v supply including the battery packs above. Record all day long without having to worry about changing batteries. |

8 X Vapextech AA 2900mAh Batteries Ni-MH
If you think you'll be doing a lot of filming then the best way to power your helmet camera is with rechargeable batteries or a power pack. These Vapextech batteries are rated at 2900mAh. A full charge should last 11-12 hours. Non- rechargeables are expensive, after a couple of charges you'll be saving money as well as the planet.
Upto 1000 x charge cycles, no memory effect.
