The ultimate portable broadcast digital recorder

The mini DVR Pro is the cutting edge of professional portable solid state video recording. Recently used at the Torino Olympics connected to the Sony XC-555 and fitted to athletes to record breath taking shots from the skiers and snowboarders. With no moving parts, video was captured flawlessly without any discontinuation, even with the high impact and g-forces of landings after an aerial jump.

Features scaleable motion-Jpeg compression with a pixel image of 720 x 486. Compression ratios from 4:1 to 20:1 Recording times can be set from 4 minutes to 20 minutes per GB. Capture resolution greater than 550 lines.

This unit can be powered by 4 x AA batteries internally or by external low voltage DC input. FFV's newest DVR product also features time/date stamp and character display. Videos are recorded as PC viewable Quicktime™ files.

Mini DVR Pro requires at least two CF memory cards. Sandisk Ultra2 and Ultra3 are recommended. Sandisk make a 8gb and now a 16gb CF card so you could have as much as 32gb solid state memory to record on to.
