on the AT-1 wireless helmet camera

Unlike the other cameras on this page, the AT-1 is a true wireless helmet camera. That means video and audio is transmitted from the camera head over 2.4ghz to the receiver which store your video on to a an SDHC memory card up to 32gb in size.

The major advantage with this kit is that the camera head is small and easier to mount and you can see what you are recording as well as what you have recorded on the receiver part.

Really easy to use and highly recommended.

The ATC2000 or ATC2K as it's known is a fully waterproof all in one camera and recorder. The package includes the camera and a range of camera mounts. It's very easy to use and being solid state, can be used in all sorts of activities. Simply pop a couple of batteries in to the back of the camera and insert an SD memory card up to 2gb in size and away you go.

This is the latest helmet camera offering from Oregon Scientific.

Based around the ATC3000 in terms of video quality and mountability. The unit is fully waterproof and can take up to a 4gb SD Card.

This is the first helmet camera in the world to have a built-in screen so you can see what you are shooting and play back what you have recorded out in the field.

Other improvements over previous versions are a remote control so you can start/stop recording without having to touch the camera A wider angled lens and also the ability to take photos as well as videos.

DS3 Mini Camera/Recorder

This is the smallest camera and recorder on the market today. Litterally this thing is smaller than a pack of chewing gum...it will fit inside a pack of chewing gum!

This new version has a 4gb built-in memory card for over 10 hours of footage.

Captures video and audio on the a MicroSD card up to 2gb in size.
A 2gb card will hold over 5 hours of video at full quality.

Video format is the same as a mobile phone (3gp) so you take the card out and watch the video back on your mobile phone if it supports this format (most phones do)

Easy single button operation and has a handy clip for attaching to a shirt pocket.

Go Pro are a new range of small digital wireless helmet cameras that can record both pictures and video. This unique design can be submerged down to 30 meters of water using it's waterproof housing.

These units can take high quality, high resolution photos with it's 3 mega-pixel sensor.

It has a 16mb built-in memory and can also take memory cards up to 2gb in size, enough to hold about an hour of video.
