The camera kits above are the most comprehensive on the market today. This kit is so good...we have fitted one to the DogCam Westfield sports car.

The XM-DVR Pro system provides power to the cameras and the microphones making installation really easy. Simply insert a CF memory card in to the slot on the recorder and turn the system on. The kits are supplied with both infra-red and a wired remote trigger switch to control recording.

If one camera is connected then it will record only one channel. If two cameras are connected then it will record from both cameras at the same time. You will end up with two video recordings on the memory card which can be played back in windows and edit on any video editing software.

It is possible to connect the XM-DVR Pro direct to most intercom systems. Please contact us for more details.

Please Note:

The XM-DVR Pro makes encrypted and protected video files. These files are converted to standard mpeg2 files using the software supplied on the CD-Rom. This software requires Microsoft windows XP or Vista. Once the files have been converted, they can then be used on an Apple OS. A version of the conversion software is currently under development for Mac users.

To be able to record at full 10mb/s on both channels, you will need CF cards that support 45mb/s write rate. The cheaper cards available will not be able to cope with this data rate.
